Life Hacks: What I Wish I Knew
Life Hacks: What I Wish I Knew is an event created for high school students to teach real world skills that will help them no matter where they go in life.
On May 12th, high school students from the Los Angeles area came together on a ranch in Sun Valley. The interactive workshops empowered them in the areas of communication, finance, and self-love/confidence. During lunch, they practiced networking with career mentors from the community that had the opportunity to inspire, motivate, and mentor the students. There the students were able to ask questions and connect with the career mentors and learn about their struggles, obstacles, and what they did to get to where they are today.
The students have a wide range of interests, from engineering, nursing, criminal psychology, entertainment, and more! It is so inspiring to learn about their aspirations, and humbling to hear how we can help them to prepare for obstacles they foresee in life.
100% of students that attended would recommend this to other students!
