inspiration
The community art walls were created to have a physical space for people share their experiences, dreams, and aspirations. We surveyed adults on where they are now, and what they wish they learned when they were younger, and how that would have made the difference for them today. And for every student that attended our event, we asked to share about their dreams and aspirations of who they want to be in the world.
This is the opportunity for the community to express their voices and perspectives, such they can inspire each other with their aspirations of who they want to be in the world, and contribute to helping others learn from where they have been.
creation
Having a vision about what to create in the world is the first step. But making it come to life was the challenge.
After brainstorming and having many conversations with many people about the idea, there were so many possibilities of where to take this. The walls were designed and constructed by the talented Katherine Chiu.
Surprise: the custom design is being printed into beautiful stickers. Can’t wait to share them with you! :)
